Pricing

Together, we agree on the price and expectations for our services
It can be difficult to set a total price for a job when it is first received. That is why we have different pricing models.
When we take on a new assignment, we work with you, our customer, to find the pricing model that best suits the assignment – or a combination of several pricing models. We are happy to provide a price estimate when we receive the assignment, and we will inform you as early as possible if it appears that the total fee is expected to exceed the price estimate.

Billing based on time spent
Our most commonly used pricing model is billing based on time spent. This pricing model results in a precise invoice based on the scope and complexity of the assignment and the specialist skills used to complete it. Hourly rates vary depending on the legal professional performing the work.

Fixed price for the assignment
In situations where the entire advisory assignment can be defined in advance, we can provide a fixed price for the assignment based on specific assumptions.

In general
In situations where we have not agreed on a pricing model in advance, we base our price on various parameters:

– The legal and commercial complexity of the case
– The expected time required
– The extent of specialist knowledge required
– The extent of work under time pressure or outside normal working hours.

Task-related costs and expenses, such as registration and court fees, reasonable travel and accommodation expenses, expenses for extensive copying and shipping, etc., are paid by the client in addition to the fee.

Information about legal aid
When we undertake an assignment for you as a private individual, we always investigate the extent to which you are eligible for public or insurance legal aid under applicable law or under the insurance you have taken out. If the fee is to be paid provisionally or finally by the public authorities or the insurance company, you will be informed of the principles for determining the remuneration, etc. We reserve the right to decline cases where the fee is to be covered by private legal aid insurance.

Non-binding offer
You are always welcome to have a non-binding chat with our attorneys-at-law. You can find contact persons within our various business areas here. You are also welcome to call our main number at +45 63 14 20 20, and we will be happy to help you further.

Legal ethics

We always look out for your best interests
Our quality assurance includes a number of internal procedures and rules for all our employees, which add to the legal ethics rules on e.g. good legal practice, the Securities Trading Act, and the Act on Preventive Measures Against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. This process naturally also includes complete confidentiality and a guarantee that we have examined our impartiality and interests before accepting a given case.
