Bio

Morten Elbrønd’s primary area of expertise is insolvency law. For a number of years, Morten Elbrønd has acted as an advisor to distressed companies or their creditors, as a trustee in bankruptcy estates, and he has also participated in restructurings and debt arrangements.

Working with insolvency law also requires knowledge of a number of other legal disciplines, which is why Morten Elbrønd possesses a broad knowledge of Danish commercial law in general.

Morten Elbrønd also advises on inheritance issues, including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and prenuptial agreements.

Morten Elbrønd has experience from secondments as an in-house lawyer at private companies, including a bank.

Morten Elbrønd is Head of the Insolvency Law Department at Focus Advokater and is a certified insolvency lawyer by Danish Insolvency Lawyers (Danske Insolvensadvokater).
