Positions and memberships

• Member of several national and international networks in order to exchange experience and research within tenancy law and general property law as well as procedural law.
• Chairman of the Board of ‘Legal Aid for Law Students’ (De Jurastuderendes Retshjælp), Odense.

Publications

• Jakob Juul-Sandberg is the author of a number of scientific books and articles, primarily on tenancy law (in Danish).
• Jakob Juul-Sandberg’s Ph.D. thesis ‘The Value of the Leased Property’ (‘Det lejedes værdi’) was most recently published in a 5th edition in 2022, and the book is still widely used by lawyers, judges and others involved in rent regulation.

Teaching

• Since 2005, Jakob Juul-Sandberg has taught law at the University of Southern Denmark – in subjects such as tenancy law, real estate transactions, and bankruptcy law.
• For many years, he has also conducted continuing education courses for lawyers in tenancy law at various course providers.
• In addition, Jakob Juul-Sandberg is an external examiner at the bar exam.
